About R & R

Ronald Van Kalker began Van Kalker Construction in 1992 with a dump truck and a backhoe. The main focus of their work was connecting sewer and water lines for residential homes. Three years later, Van Kalker Construction took on a partner to do a larger development project and R & R Sewer, Water and Excavating, Inc was born.

During the final construction phase of this extensive project, Ron bought out his partner and expanded the company into undertaking residential, commercial, and municipal projects. Over the next 20 years the company has grown in size and complexity, along with our client base, which includes small towns, villages, and both small to substantial private contractors, while still concentrating on infrastructure construction.

We believe that a professional and positive relationship with our clients is essential to our continued success, as is demonstrated by our many repeat clients. We also believe our employees are the most valuable assets, which is why we only hire the most experienced people in the industry.

Our desire to eliminate personal injuries or illness, damage to equipment or property, while protecting the public whenever it comes into contact with us or our work; and, while still providing the highest quality work standard is paramount to R & R. We challenge ourselves every day to realize that.
